MANILA, Philippines—(February 26, 2016)—Entrust Datacard today announced that the company will exhibit at PROTECT 2016 held at the SMX Convention Center, Metro Manila Philippines on March 2-3, 2016. The PROTECT International Exhibition and Conference on Security and Safety provides an opportunity for government agencies, managers of critical infrastructures, and those responsible for security and safety of business and the community to come together to discuss timely topics related to security threats and how to address them in today’s marketplace.

At the conference, Entrust Datacard will showcase the company’s end-to-end technology solutions that empower organizations and agencies to enhance service levels while strengthening security, mitigating risk and controlling costs. Solutions include integrated offerings for a wide range of identity challenges, ranging from citizen enrollment and secure document issuance to the authentication, renewal and revocation of both physical and digital credentials.

“We are happy to participate at PROTECT 2016 and to continue providing innovative technology solutions for trusted identities and secure transactions,” said Angus McDougall, regional vice president, Asia Pacific. “Entrust Datacard is committed to providing peace of mind for organizations as they connect online or on-the-go. At Entrust Datacard, we create anywhere-anytime experiences to captivate the connected consumer, connect citizens and governments, and enable access in the connected enterprise.”

During the event, conference attendees will have the opportunity to see a demonstration of the Datacard® CD800™ card printer with inline lamination. The CD800 card printer directly addresses market needs by including high-performance overlays, unique tactile impression options, a bar code reader and a card debow feature.
