MINNEAPOLIS—(October 11, 2016)—Entrust Datacard, a leading provider of trusted identity and secure transaction technologies, today announced that the company will participate at the Border Management & Technologies Summit Asia to be held at The Grand Millennium Hotel, Oct. 19-20, 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference will review the latest border management systems across Asia, the challenges and technologies, biometrics and infrastructures used across international air, sea and land borders to analyze the development of border security in Asia.

At the conference, Henry Leung, senior marketing manager, government solutions for Entrust Datacard will give a presentation discussing the holistic approach to passport issuance and validation which enables trusted identities and secure transactions at the borders. He will also discuss global macro trends as they pertain to border security and explore why traveler and citizen authentication needs to keep pace with today’s technological advances. Additionally, he will speak to the relevance of a scalable identity and credential lifecycle management platform to manage citizen identities now and into the future, as well as safeguarding borders by interfacing with manned and automated border control systems.
