To install the Entrust Chain/Intermediate Certificate, complete the following steps:
1. Copy and paste the Entrust chain certificate including the
-----BEGIN-----
and
-----END-----
tags into a text editor such as Notepad. Save the file with a .cer extension (for example, chain.cer) or you can just simply click the Chain cert file button on the certificate pick up page to download the certificate file.
2. Using the keytool utility, enter the following:
keytool -import -alias <alias> -keystore <your_keystore_filename> -trustcacerts -file <filename_of_the_chain>
For example:
C:\>keytool -import -alias chain -keystore c:\.mykeystore -trustcacerts -file c:\chain.cer
Enter keystore password:
Certificate was added to keystore.
Note – Do not use the same alias name as you used to create the certificate signing request. The chain certificate must be installed under a separate alias.
