Identity is where trust begins. As AI accelerates and fraud and cyber threats evolve at an unprecedented pace, the link between identity and trust has never been more important.

That’s why I’m passionate about introducing The Identity Thread by Entrust, a hub for insights on identity-centric security. The Identity Thread is where we will bring together expert perspectives, data reports, and forward-looking ideas to help organizations secure every stage of the identity lifecycle.

This isn’t just a technology discussion – it’s about trust and security for our friends and families, our communities, and the people who count on key moments of truth when identity is critical to trust.

Whether you’re onboarding a customer or employee, or they’re making a highrisk request such as a major transaction or account change, identity and trust sit at the center of these moments. It’s also fundamental to how we manage digital certificates that establish identity for devices, workloads, and AI agents – and keep them, and all of us, secure.

Why Did We Choose This Name?

Identity fraud compromises trust. AIdriven cyberattacks are growing more sophisticated. At the same time, we – as customers, consumers, employees, and citizens – expect fast, seamless digital experiences that don’t compromise security.

Leaders across many industries are asking the same questions: How do we protect identities across various systems and customer journeys? How do we manage evolving cryptography? How do we build trust into every transaction, every interaction, and every user experience?

Identity is the common thread. Only by securing the identity lifecycle can organizations address these risks and operate securely.

With The Identity Thread, we’re creating a space to explore the ideas and strategies that will shape the future of identitycentric security.
