Delinea Secret Server and the Delinea Platform integrate with Entrust nShield hardware security modules to provide hardware-rooted protection for the cryptographic keys securing privileged credentials.
As part of the Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform (CSP), nShield HSMs provide a hardware root of trust within a broader framework for managing cryptographic keys, secrets, certificates, compliance, and cryptographic risk across hybrid environments.
nShield HSMs directly protect the Master Encryption Key for Secret Server On-Premises. For Secret Server Cloud and the Delinea Platform, AWS Key Management Service External Key Store provides an integration path to customer-controlled nShield HSMs. Hybrid deployments combine the cloud-based Delinea Platform with an on-premises Secret Server vault protected by nShield HSMs.
Together, Entrust and Delinea help organizations strengthen privileged credential protection, maintain control of critical key material, and support security, sovereignty, audit, and compliance objectives across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
