Install SSL/TLS Certificate on Google Cloud Load Balancer:
Purpose: How Import a Certificate on Google Cloud Load Balancer

Requirements
1. You must have an active Google Cloud Account and an Active Load Balancer.
2. You must have OpenSSL or other tools to generate CSR’s and private keys.

Steps
1. Generate a CSR from OpenSSL.
openssl req -out CSR.csr -new -newkey rsa:2048 or 4096 -nodes -keyout privateKey.key

2. Request a certificate from Entrust.
For CMS Lite (Retail). Please see “Buying”.
For CMS Enterprise, please see “Creating SSL/TLS”.

3. Download the certificate as “Linux Apache”. This will provide two files. A Chain Bundle and a Server Certificate.

4. Go to the Google Cloud Balancer and select the Load Balancer. Then, select “Edit”.

5. Then, select “Frontend configuration” and “Create a New Certificate”.

6. Open the Server Certificate, Chain Bundle, and Private key (Step 1) on a Note Pad.

7. Copy/paste the Server Certificate under “Public Key Certificate”. Then, copy/ paste the chain bundle under “Certificate Chain”. Then, copy/ paste the Private key from step 1 under “Private Key”.

8. Click Done and Update. The new certificate is now applied to the Load Balancer.
