MUMBAI, India—(Dec. 10, 2015) — Entrust Datacard today announced that it was a sponsor of the International Conference on Cyber law, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity organized by Cyberlaws.Net and Pavan Duggal Associates. The conference was held at the India International Centre in New Delhi, India on November 19, 2015 and was an opportunity for members of the cyber community to exchange ideas and discuss recent issues facing cyber law, cybercrime and cybersecurity.

The International Conference on Cyber law, Cybercrime and Cybersecurity provided a forum where researchers, government representatives, law enforcement organizations and other special interest groups could present recent lessons learned and set priorities for problems and provide direction related to cyber law, cybercrime and cybersecurity.

“Securing an individual’s identity and authenticating the user of services in our digital world has become more important than ever before,” said Rajiv Singh, managing director south Asia, Entrust Datacard. “Today, we all are vulnerable and need to ensure that we have the tools necessary to prevent and investigate cybercrimes, and be prepared to defend against them using a proactive approach. Preventing loss of identity and securing transactions in the payment ecosystem, including internet and mobile banking, is a priority for Entrust Datacard.”
