This summer, through interactive and global events, we spent time reflecting on the success of our company’s past and visualizing what the next 50 will look like as a global team.

To kick off the celebration, many of our global offices hosted a Fun Run and Walk for colleagues. Races were held in Shakopee, Minnesota, Ottawa, Canada, Orléans, France, Waltham, Massachusetts, Sunrise, Florida, Barcelona, Spain, Cambridge, United Kingdom, and Singapore.

The energy continued as we hosted a panel discussion with our Senior Leadership Team that was broadcasted live for all colleagues. During the candid panel conversation, our leaders examined the future of Entrust Datacard, but also offered a few laughs with a game called “Most likely to” that explored “Who’s most likely to win a karaoke contest?” and “Who’s most likely to own the most pets?”

Then, colleagues at our global headquarters in Shakopee, Minnesota were invited to a private concert on the office lawns with a performance from Martin Zellar, the lead singer from the Minneapolis-based band the Gear Daddies — a local fan favorite. The live music was accompanied with treats from a micro brewing company and food trucks that colleagues enjoyed.

We capped off the celebrations with a global BBQ lunch. From Shanghai, China to Ottawa, Canada, colleagues enjoyed the time and comradery spent with one another as we closed out our celebration week.

As our CEO Todd Wilkinson said during the live panel, “The future is bright for Entrust Datacard.” The celebrations for our 50th marked one of the many bright moments that we experience together as a growing and vibrant global team.
