Certificate Signing Request (CSR) Help
For Apache2 on Mac OS 10.11.6 and up
Complete the following steps to create your CSR.
1. Go to the OpenSSL Command Builder here .
2. Input the information requested to build the command line to copy into the Terminal to create your CSR. To open Terminal go to Finder > Applications.
3. A private key and CSR will be generated. Take note of where both of these are stored. You will require your CSR to request the certificate from Entrust, and you will need the private key during the certificate installation process.
You have successfully created a CSR. You may open the file contents of the CSR using TextEditor or any similar word processing app to copy over the contents of the CSR to order/request your certificate.
