Entrepreneurs play a vital role in transforming our lives by disrupting industries and reinventing businesses. And, for 35 years the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® Award has recognized those entrepreneurial leaders who are excelling in overcoming adversity, financial performance, societal impact and commitment to building a values-based company, innovation, and talent management.

For those very reasons, we couldn’t be happier that our very own Todd Wilkinson, CEO of Entrust, has been named an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2021 Heartland Award winner.

As the leader of a company that’s been in business for more than 50 years, this award recognizes that entrepreneurs aren’t just found at start-up companies. As Todd says, “The entrepreneurial spirit is critical for companies like Entrust because we always see opportunities to reinvent ourselves, never stop innovating and always work to build the expertise and talent needed to better serve the needs of customers.”

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards program is one of the preeminent competitive awards for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies. As a Heartland award winner, Todd is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2021 National Awards. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced in November at the Strategic Growth Forum®, one of the nation’s most prestigious gatherings of high-growth, market-leading companies.

Award winners were selected by an independent panel; the program has honored the inspirational leadership of such entrepreneurs as Howard Schultz of Starbucks Corporation; Reid Hoffman and Jeff Weiner of LinkedIn Corporation; and Kendra Scott of Kendra Scott LLC.

We’re honored to have Todd recognized among so many other unstoppable business leaders in the US Heartland. You can learn more about Todd and the other Heartland region winners here.
