Vice President, Global Sales and Field Service
Mark Reeves has more than 20 years’ experience managing international growth in the technology sector, enjoying much success in high-growth organizations. Reeves joined Entrust as Senior Vice President of International Sales in 2011. In September 2014, he was appointed to Vice President, Global Sales and Field Services. Reeves is responsible for all Entrust products globally, accelerating investments in selling resources, expanding global focus and delivering new programs for wins in a competitive market for Entrust and Datacard Group.
Beginning his career as an electronics engineer with Thorn EMI, Reeves worked for several technology companies in pre-sales engineering prior to moving into commercial roles. At the age of 27 he was promoted to Sales Director, Northern Europe for Micropolis.
Reeves later joined the management team of Arcada Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seagate Technology (and subsequently acquired by Veritas Software), with a charter of starting the European organization.
In 1999, Reeves joined RSA Security as VP EMEA, overseeing average annual growth in excess of 30 percent. During his tenure, the mix of the business changed significantly. Prior to 1999, less than 10 percent of the company’s EMEA revenue was fulfilled through channel partners.
By the close of 2001, the business model was 80 percent channel and 20 percent direct. At the end of 2004, Reeves was appointed as VP International, which then gave him responsibility for all business outside of the American continent.
In 2006, Reeves joined UK business Promethean to head up its international expansion, covering all markets other than UK and North America. In just three years, the international business grew from less than $2 million per year revenue to close to $50 million.
