Originally founded in February 1919 by Otto B. Arnar, radio and telegraph engineer. Import of typewriters and telephones. In 1929 the company acquired dealership for Addressograph Ltd. in London. During the second world war a connection was made with Addressograph-Multigraph Corp. in US. At the death of Otto B. Arnar in 1972 his family carried on with the company and changed the structure to a company with limited liabilities (ehf). In 1986 it became the distributor of Entrust Corporation
