Tony Ball Joins Entrust Datacard as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Identity and Access Management

MINNEAPOLIS—(Aug. 2, 2016)—Entrust Datacard today announced that Tony Ball has been appointed to the role of senior vice president and general manager of Identity and Access Management. This newly-created position will be reporting directly to Todd Wilkinson, CEO and president of the company, where Ball will be responsible for driving the strategy and growing the solution segments of Identity, Access Management and Authentication.

Ball joins Entrust Datacard from HID Global where he spent the last nine years in leadership roles, the most recent as president, Identity and Access Management (IAM). Prior to that, Ball was with Gemalto – working as the senior vice president, Northern Europe, where he drove strategy for the banking, security and mobile international markets. He was also with Schlumberger for over 16 years where he held various geographic and business-related responsibilities. Ball is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States.
