MINNEAPOLIS—(Oct. 13, 2015) — Entrust Datacard today announced that the company will exhibit, sponsor and speak at the eleventh annual ICAO Symposium and Exhibition on Machine Readable Travel Documents (MRTDs) Oct. 14 – 16, 2015 at ICAO Headquarters in Montréal, Quebec, Canada. Entrust Datacard representatives will be located in booths 31 – 33.

At the exhibition, the company will showcase enhancements to the Datacard® PB6500™ passport issuance system, which enables government agencies to optimize passport security, increase efficiency and lower operational costs. Visitors to the Entrust Datacard booths can view in-booth demonstrations of the enhanced system as well as demonstrations of the company’s portfolio of government focused security technologies. Additionally, company experts will speak at the Symposium during two sessions, which include:

  • A solutions-oriented workshop titled “Entrust Datacard Solutions – Connecting Citizens and Governments,” presented by Mike Hathaway, senior product manager, Entrust Datacard. The workshop will focus on technology solutions for issuance and validation that connect governments and their citizens to deliver a world class citizen experience ranging from citizen enrollment, credential issuance and use at borders.
  • A presentation by Mary Olson, senior marketing manager government solutions, Entrust Datacard, titled “Combating Counterfeit Identities: The Power of Pairing Physical and Digital IDs.” The session will discuss industry best practices for leveraging both physical and digital security as the foundation for delivering trusted identities.
