The RSA Conference is one of the seminal cybersecurity conferences globally, providing a unique opportunity to learn, network, and share ideas with experts and peers in the field. The majority of the event is taken up by the exhibition hall, where vendors from around the world showcase their latest cybersecurity products and services. This is a key event for Entrust and we are always looking for new ways to drive exceptional experiences for our customers that are true to our brand.

We have often, like many other attending organizations, used small gifts or “swag” to thank visitors for coming by our booth. This year Entrust is taking a different approach: We have decided to align more closely to our corporate values and brand by replacing swag with charitable donations. We have a corporate initiative called “Entrust Cares,” which is our global giving and volunteer program where we give back to the community, and we felt this was a great opportunity to further it.

We trialled the “demo for donation” concept at an event in Barcelona at the beginning of 2023 with encouraging feedback from customers, partners, and the community. This year the RSAC 2023 theme, “Stronger Together,” spurred us on to do it again. To borrow from the RSA event messaging: “We are a community of many. No one goes it alone; we build on each other’s diverse knowledge to create the next breakthrough.” We see this initiative as a small way of delivering on that vision.

We have chosen organizations that make an impact by helping the next generation of tech superstars, ensuring they have the resources to reach their full potential, regardless of their gender, race, or economic background. We’ve decided that for every visitor that engages with us at our booth, we will donate $10 to one of these charities.

The charities we have selected for this event are:

  • Every Child Online – A charity that provides refurbished PCs, laptops, and tablets to underprivileged children for free. The charity’s goal is to help close the digital divide and improve the quality of digital education offered in schools.
  • CODE – An education innovation nonprofit dedicated to the vision that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their core K-12 education.
  • Technovation Girls – A global charity that equips young women to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors and parents, girls work in teams to code mobile apps that address real-world problems.

As well as feeling good about helping support one of these fantastic charities, visitors will receive a unique thank you card that includes details of the chosen charity and website.

Be sure to visit us at RSAC April 24-26 at booth #6445 North to support one of these great causes.

See you there!
