If you receive a file with the extension of .PP7M, it is encrypted with Entrust Entelligence.

To decrypt this type of file you will need the Entrust Password Decrypt tool which will decrypt any .PP7M files that are password protected.

1. Go to https://www.entrust.com/epd/ and click the Download button for the Password Decrypt tool. Then Click the “I agree – Download Now” button to agree with the license agreement and to download the file.

2. Extract the contents of the zip file and double click on the file “eepassdcrpt.msi” to run the installer.

3. Check the box to agree to the License Agreement and click Install. Click the Finish button once completed.

4. Locate the .PP7M file and double click on it. You will now be prompted to enter a password for the encrypted file. Enter the password assigned to that file and click OK.

5. Once completed, a decrypted copy of the file will be generated on the same folder with the original extension of the file. You can then open the file with appropriate application. In this case the decrypted PDF file will use Adobe Acrobat Reader to open.
