How to create an Entrust CSaaS certificate inside the ECS Portal

Step by step to create a CSaaS (Code Signing as a Service Certificate):

1. Login to your ECS portal.

2. From your Home screen, click on the Get Started tab .

3. Select Create your Signing Automation Code Signing certificate

4. Select Signing Automation - OV Code Signing or Signing Automation - EV Code Signing. Click Next to continue.

5. In this window, multiple fields need to be selected.

Field Description
Certificate Expiry The date you select defines the end date for the certificate. After this date, the certificate will no longer be valid.
Organization Select from the list of verified Organization names.
Token Select from the list of verified Tokens.
Organization Unit You can choose from the list of verified OU values, if applicable. Not all Organizations use OUs.
Certificate Friendly Name Enter free-form information that will help you keep track of this certificate. The contents of this field correspond to the Label in PKCS #11. This is also your Alias name for Java Code signing.
Key Combo Select the public key type and length for the key pair—the current default to RSA-4096.

6. Click Next

7. Enter your additional email address if needed. Click Submit

8. Your CSaaS certificate has been generated.
