Certificate Signing Request (CSR) Help
For NGINX
Complete the following steps to create your CSR.
You can use Open SSL to create your CSR for an NGINX server.
Run the following command:
openssl req -new -nodes -keyout private.key -out server.csr
You will get 2 output files:
private.key: This is your private key. You should store this on the server in safe location. You will need it when you install the certificate
server.csr: This is your Certificate Signing Request.
This is the information you will submit to Entrust for certificate creation.
You can open the server.csr document in notepad to and copy the contents to create the certificate.
