Keytool CSR Builder

The first step in requesting an SSL certificate for a Java based Web server, is to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) using Java Keytool–a tool in the Java Development Kit (JDK). We strongly recommend that you create the CSR on the Web server where the certificate will be installed to avoid moving your private key, but it can be created on any computer with the JDK installed. To create the CSR, you need to run a Java Keytool command containing the required certificate information. Entrust has created this page to simplify the process of creating this command.
