SYDNEY—(May 20, 2016)—Entrust Datacard today announced that the company will exhibit and speak at the Biometrics Institute Asia-Pacific Conference May 25 – 26, 2016 at Dockside, Sydney, Australia. The conference brings together biometric users from government agencies, commercial organizations and technology providers to share ideas, and to discuss the opportunities biometrics offer and associated implementation challenges.

Entrust Datacard, a member of the Biometric Institute, will speak and demonstrate the company’s end-to end solution targeted at government bodies at the conference. Additionally, Henry Leung, senior marketing manager government solutions at Entrust Datacard will present a session on May 25 at 3:00 p.m. titled “The Future is Now – Identity and Credential Lifecycle Management Platform.” The presentation will discuss how government agencies using identity and credential lifecycle management platform should be able to accommodate evolving technologies, international standards, PKI, enrollment/issuance models, government line of business systems and peripherals without having to re-invent their existing system as new border control and secure identification initiatives are introduced.

“We are excited to showcase our passport and border control solutions at the conference,” said Michael Robertson, regional director for South Pacific, Entrust Datacard. “At the event, we will showcase a complete end-to-end solution demonstration starting with citizen biographic and biometric enrollment, physical and digital passport personalization, ePassport PKI to passport authentication via a mobile border check device. All of which are relevant solutions for the government agencies attending the conference.”
