Certificate Signing Request (CSR) Help
For F5 BIP-IP 11.3.0

Complete the following steps to create your CSR.

1. Launch the F5 BIG-IP web GUI.

2. On the Main tab, click on System , select File Management then select SSL Certificate List

3. The list of existing certificates displays.

4. In the upper right corner of the screen, click Create .

5. Under General Properties, supply a name for the certificate. This name will be used in the future to identify this certificate.

6. Under Certificate Properties, supply the following information:

Issuer: Certificate Authority

Common name: Fully Qualified Domain Name of your site (www.mydomain.com)

Division: Name of your division or department

Organization: Legal name of your company or organization

Locality, State or Province, Country: City, state, and country where your organization is located

E-mail Address: Your email address

Challenge Password, Confirm Password: Your password

7. Under Key Properties, select 2048 bits.

8. Click Finished at the bottom of the screen.

9. The text of the Certificate Signing Request is displayed. Copy the entire Request Text to a file or download the Request File to save the CSR.

10. Click Finished at the bottom of the screen.

You have completed your certificate signing request. Use the contents of the CSR file to submit your certificate request to Entrust.
