Note – To enable SSL you must have a keystore with an existing SSL certificate installed in it.
1. Open the server.xml file in a text editor.
2. Remove the comment tags around the Connector entry, and set Connector Port to 443. Your server.xml should look like this:

3. Save the file and restart Tomcat.
