Introduction (Windows 7 Operating Systems)

There have been reports that specific Microsoft security updates released on March 9th, have caused printing anomalies with barcodes, graphics printing  on Windows 7 Workstations affecting ID Works, IDCentre, and applications using the ID Works Print Server, with print drivers installed.

The March 9th patches which may cause this issue:

Solution

The problem can be remedied by downloading and updating Windows 7 with updated Microsoft Security Update for Windows 7 released after March 18th, 2021.  Please use the prescribed Microsoft Updates as prescribed by Microsoft.

The March 22nd patch which resolves this issue:

KB5001639 - Released after March 22nd, 2021 which resolves these printing anomalies.
