MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—(June 16, 2015)—Entrust Datacard today announced the latest release of the Datacard® CardWizard® software version 6.3. This release is the newest and most robust release of the company’s proven software that features new functionality and enhanced capabilities for financial institutions instantly issuing payment cards in-branch.
Building on the strength of the existing CardWizard software capabilities, this new 6.3 version streamlines in-branch card operations by now offering two new significant enhancements, which include:
- Enhancement to the browser-based CardWizard software’s user interface to include the Integrated Client (iClient) functionality. This functionality is designed to enable branch employees to securely retrieve card records from the issuer’s card management system (CMS) and instantly issue them seamlessly in-branch from the browser-based CardWizard client. In addition, branch reporting and cardstock management features were also added in this software update.
- The addition of a REST-based web service to the CardWizard Software Development Kit (SDK). This web service provides a new integration option for Entrust Datacard customers who want to embed the CardWizard software instant issuance functionality within their own hosted interface and system.
