Solution Description

VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid integrates with Entrust nShield® hardware security modules (HSMs) and the nShield Container Option Pack to enable developers to build, launch, and scale container-based web applications. Integration supports access to high assurance cryptographic functionality of the nShield HSM to deliver secure Kubernetes clusters.

VMware vSphere® and vSAN™ encryption solutions integrate with Entrust KeyControl (formerly HyTrust) to deliver encryption keys using the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP).

Through participation in the Technology Alliance Program - Mobile Smart Credential (MSC) Track, VMware Workspace ONE, powered by AirWatch unified endpoint management technology, and combined with Entrust Identity Mobile Smart Credential, provides secure physical and logical access control to mobile users while minimizing factors and friction. This Derived PIV credential compliant solution establishes secure remote access to U.S. federal government and other networks and applications via certificate-based authentication.
