MINNETONKA, Minn and DELHI, India—(Dec. 10, 2014)—Entrust Datacard Corporation announced today that they are participating at IFSEC.  The event will take place on Dec. 11th – 13th, 2014 at the Pragati Miadan, New Delhi.

IFSEC has been at the heart of the security market for more than 40 years, connecting the global buying chain. Attracting more than 10,000 visitors, IFSEC India is the key event in the security industry within the region bringing together suppliers and organizations to learn about the latest technology and industry trends in the region, as well as debut solutions and products that help business and organizations stay secure.

At the show, Entrust Datacard will be showcasing the Datacard® SD460™ card printer that empowers security-minded organizations in important new ways with a variety of technologies, including high-performance laminates and an entirely new and innovative, tactile impression personalization feature. This single system prints, encodes and laminates in one pass so issuers can cost-effectively add security features, including smart card chips and edge-to-edge overlays that substantially extend card life.

Combined with Datacard® software, supplies and service, Indian defense organizations have a reliable solution for incorporating more security and durability into their card programs. Entrust Datacard will also highlight its digital security solutions such as PKI, SSL, Entrust® IdentityGuard and smart card credentialing capabilities.

“Today, secure access control and identification technologies are crucial for the safety of people and assets,” said Ajay Kumar, marketing director of South Asia for Entrust Datacard. “The impact of security breaches presents an imposing threat for all organizations including defense, which places critical importance on employee and visitor ID programs.  This expo is an ideal platform to showcase how our solutions enable flexibility, security and reliability for security agencies to implement secure ID programs.”
