As co-chairs of the Women’s Alliance Network at Entrust, we strive to empower, educate and elevate women in our workplace through participation from all colleagues because we believe we are truly better together.

As part of that mission, we are excited to celebrate International Women’s Day at Entrust with a week of events for our colleagues that includes educational, community and networking opportunities as well as a conversation with our three female Board members.

As International Women’s Day activities kick off globally, we asked several members of our senior leadership team to share their thoughts on the importance of gender equality and diversity in the workplace.

Equality is not a gender issue, it’s a business issue. Our diversity brings about different points of view that continually transform our business and deliver improved innovation to our customers and partners. When we celebrate International Women’s Day at Entrust, we celebrate our diversity and the continual collaboration needed to recognize equality within our team.

– Cindy Provin, SVP Entrust & GM Identity and Data Protection Solutions

In a world of inequality, its incumbent upon leaders to step up to address the gaps we see and make changes every day. I am proud to work for a company that both speaks that language and lives it. International Women’s Day is a celebration of how far we have come and a recognition of how far we have to go. Thank you to all of those who are making Entrust a better company fit to face the challenges of today and the future.

– Tony Ball, SVP & GM, Access Control

Gender equality is not just the right thing to do for individuals, it’s the right thing to do for the company. Honoring our unique skills and differences ensures that our colleagues are living up to their potential and bringing their best ideas and contributions to their work. We need everyone’s help to champion women and ensure they are recognized for their work and receive equal opportunities to grow their careers.

– Beth Klehr, Chief Human Resources Officer

International Women’s Day recognizes and helps women gain full and equal involvement in making a global impact. It is about identifying, nurturing and celebrating talent. For Entrust it means fostering, mentoring and growing the next generation of brilliant female leaders and individual contributors to guide us to a successful future, with a breadth of ideas and perspectives, a balance of fiscal and social responsibility, and an unwavering sense of purpose.

– Sam Morcos, SVP & GM, Certificate Services

I was brought up by a strong, intelligent woman who grew up in an era where all work options weren’t available to her. She started the career she always wanted when she was close to 60 years old. My wife started a successful corporate business career out of college in the late 1980s, and I saw the uneven playing field and plain unfairness she dealt with because she was a woman. I love that Entrust in 2020 understands we can celebrate women’s achievements and still acknowledge that we can do more to forge a more gender equal world. It’s so much better in 2020, but our efforts and commitment won’t stop, because we always strive to be the best for all our colleagues.

– Chris Pelletier, SVP & GM, Instant Issuance

As a husband and especially as a father, I’m glad Entrust is celebrating International Women’s Day. I am proud that we are leading by example to show that no doors are closed and that hard work will be rewarded equally. I want my daughter to know that you can follow your passions and imagination anywhere, and that the world is not going to limit her potential.

– Matt Stern, SVP Business Development

As a global technology company, Entrust’s success requires an inclusive environment where the best and brightest can succeed, regardless of gender. International Women’s Day is a call to action for the tech industry to help overcome the gender gaps in STEM and to push for a gender equal world in our words and our actions to create a better future for all of us.
