Datacard Group will be speaking on two tracks at CARTES & IDentification 2012 on Nov. 6-8 in Paris, France.

Alyssa Arredondo, senior marketing manager for Datacard Group, will present on the Smart Card Innovation: Personalization and Instant Issuing track.  Her presentation, “Proven Ways to Increase Card Program Profitability,”  will outline case studies demonstrating how card issuers have improved operational efficiency to help minimize costs.  It will also highlight how issuers can help meet consumer demands by supplementing centralized card production with instant card issuance.  Alyssa will present on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 2:30 p.m.

Dino Balafas,  vice president of central issuance for Datacard Group, will present on the Trust: From Security to Privacy by Design track.  His presentation, “The Importance of Securing Cardholder Data,”  will highlight how to meet stringent security audit requirements and help card issuers achieve multiple lines of defense against potential security breaches.  In addition, it will outline priorities for the various stakeholders involved in mapping secure environments for manufacturing which includes, operations, IT staff, compliance management, and third party auditors; and discuss considerations for protecting the flow of sensitive data “in transit” and “at rest.”  Dino will present on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 12 p.m.
