Why does the Discovery Agent interface take several minutes to open after I log in?


The Discovery Agent will take several minutes to open the interface if there are a large number of self-signed certificates or the certificates are issued by a large number of CAs.



The summary table on the "Home" page of the Discovery Agent interface groups certificates by the issuing Certification Authority (CA). If a large number of CAs have issued certificates used in your network or you are using a large number of self-signed certificates, the Discovery Agent may take several minutes to create and populate the table.  The interface does not open until the summary table has been generated.

To resolve this issue select the “Erase Summary Information” link located above the top right corner of the summary table and click “OK” when asked to continue. Using this link removes the summary table but will not affect the certificate scan information sent to the Discovery Manager. The Discovery Manager can display a summary of your certificate information.
