To install the Entrust Cross Certificate, complete the following steps:
1. Copy and paste the chain certificate and cross certificate including the -----BEGIN----- and -----END----- tags into separate file using a text editor such as Notepad. Save the file with a .cer extension (for example, chain.cer and cross.cer).
2. Using the keytool utility, enter the following:
keytool -import -alias <alias> -keystore <your_keystore_filename> -trustcacerts -file <filename_of_the_chain>
Steps:
1. Import Entrust cross certificate using the command below:
C:\>keytool -import -alias g2root -keystore c:\.mykeystore -trustcacerts -file c:\cross.cer
2. Enter keystore password:
Certificate was added to keystore.
- Import Entrust chain using the command below:
C:\>keytool -import -alias chain -keystore c:\.mykeystore -trustcacerts -file c:\chain.cer
Enter keystore password:
Certificate was added to keystore.
Note – Do not use the same alias name as you used to create the certificate signing request. The chain certificate must be installed under a separate alias.
