Requirements:
- An active account with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Your DNS zone has already been set up and is working properly on Route 53 services
There is a video for this solution.
Here is the process:
1. Login to your account Amazon Route 53 account.
2. You will be directed to the AWS dashboard.
3. Click on the Services menu on the top screen, and select Route 53.
4. You will be directed to the Route 53 dashboard. You should see the number amount of your hosted zones. Click on the Hosted Zones link beneath that number:
You will see your hosted zone information. In this example: entrustzonelab.com. Click on the domain to go to record set information.
Your record set information of your DNS zone should will show as below:
5. You can start to add your CAA record by clicking on Create Record Set button. Fill the CAA information as below to add Entrust as the Authorized Certification Authority for the record:

6. Click Create button to save the record set. Your new CAA record will be saved and added to your DNS zone.
At this point, your CAA record has been successfully added.
NOTE:
If your organization currently uses “entrust.net” for your CAA record, we recommend adding a separate CAA record for D-Trust. Valid values are:
d-trust.net
d-trust.de
Example:
0 issue “d-trust.net”
0 issuewild “d-trust.net”
