Antelop and Alpha Bank announce their technological partnership concerning digital cards and mobile payments, with the launch of myAlpha Wallet, a popular Greek NFC wallet powered by Antelop for Visa and Mastercard cards, available in Greece.

Alpha Bank, the second-largest card issuer in Greece, is the parent company of the Alpha Bank Group, one of the leading groups of the financial sector in Greece, which is also active in Albania, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Romania and the UK.

MYALPHA WALLET, A LEADING NFC PAYMENT APPLICATION IN GREECE

myAlpha Wallet is an NFC application for contactless payments, available on Android devices for Alpha Bank customers. It allows users to digitize all Alpha Bank cards (credit, debit or prepaid cards) and pay with their mobile phone anywhere in the world at any POS terminal equipped with NFC technology.

myAlpha Wallet, which integrated 3 years ago an alt-pan NFC solution (not using VTS/MDES), is now trusting the VTS/MDES PCI DSS SaaS Antelop solution to launch a new version of the service. This includes the latest VTS/MDES innovations, such as transaction history or card arts, and is fully compliant with schemes.
