Entrust GetAccess™ Comprehensive
Course Overview
This course introduces participants to the Entrust GetAccess product, and provides the key concepts, skills and experience to integrate and manage Entrust GetAccess into their environment. The course begins with an overview of the Entrust GetAccess product architecture. Attendees learn about the organizational analysis necessary to define the users, roles, and resources that will be involved in an Entrust GetAccess system. A single-machine installation of Entrust GetAccess is then performed, followed by comprehensive hands-on experience with the administrative tools. Attendees learn about customization of the environment with Entrust GetAccess templates, APIs, extensions, custom cookies, and integration with other authorization mechanisms. Multi-domain and SAML support are explored and enabled. Finally, the Entrust Secure Transaction Platform Identification and Entitlements Server and the Entrust Secure Transaction Platform Application Server Runtimes are discussed and installed.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the function of the Entrust GetAccess product in a typical business environment
- Describe in detail the Entrust GetAccess components and architecture
- Perform server installations of the Entrust GetAccess product
- Initialize and manage users, roles, and access to resources
- Create customized Entrust GetAccess extensions, cookies, and policies
- Integrate external authentication mechanisms with Entrust GetAccess
- Work with the Identification and Entitlements Server and the Application Server Runtimes
