Susanna Montezemolo

Susanna Montezemolo is a Policy Analyst in the Washington, DC office of Consumers Union, the non-profit, independent publisher of Consumer Reports. Susanna works closely with members of Congress and federal agencies to shape policy on such issues as financial services, privacy, product safety, and food safety. She also regularly speaks with the national print and broadcast media on her areas of expertise.

Susanna has a decade of experience working as an advocate and analyst in Washington, DC. Prior to coming to Consumers Union, she worked as a Program Examiner in the Commerce Branch of the Office of Management and Budget, where she oversaw several economic development agencies in the federal government. Prior to that, she worked as a Policy Analyst in the Policy Development Division of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she analyzed the impact of federal affordable housing and community development programs. She also has worked for the Center on Law and Social Policy, the Antitrust Division of the Justice Department, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Susanna holds dual master degrees, in public affairs and urban planning, from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, as well as a B.A. in government and American studies from Colby College.
