Bi-directional Encryption

Bi-directional encryption refers to the ability to secure data as it is transmitted in both directions over the Internet (browser to server, server to browser). Standard SSL security only protects the data between the user's browser and the Web server. Once the data reaches the Web server it is decrypted and from that point forward, the data is in the clear.

Entrust TruePass is the only Web security solution available on the market today that can provide end-to-end protection of online information regardless of the Web infrastructure configuration. Privacy and confidentiality of online information is ensured all the way from the user to the organization. This enables organizations to deploy interactive forms and reporting applications enabling users to submit sensitive information online whether they are using XML, HTML, or file attachments. Organizations can securely return updates, approvals, and instructions to users in real-time, eliminating paper-based processes, increasing productivity and improving efficiency of online communications.
