ZebSign is Norway's leading trust center for digital services. ZebSign is a joint venture of Telenor ASA, the leading telecommunications, IT and media company in Norway and the Norway Post, the Norwegian postal authority, with traditional postal services, logistics and computerized services. ZebSign’s services and products include certificate services in various forms, depending upon project requirements:
- Digital ID’s and certificates
- Smart card solutions
- Solutions with certificates on SIM cards in mobile phones for secure mobile e-business
- Solutions with centrally stored certificates, securely downloaded to current user location, when needed
The relationship between ZebSign and Entrust provides an environment of trust for eCommerce and mCommerce in Norway and the Scandinavian countries, while providing a foundation for further expansion of ZebSign ID services to a larger geographical area. Entrust is the source for many of the technologies, support services and proven products that are central to the ZebSign ID service. Collectively these allow ZebSign, along with their partners to offer a more secure, trusted environment for their business, government and consumer services.
