Sistemas Informáticos Abiertos (SIA), a Spanish multinational founded in 1989, is an infrastructure technology enabling company, specialized in the development and implementation of state-of-the-art technological infrastructures for large corporations.
SIA, with headquarters in Madrid (Spain) and offices in Barcelona, Portugal, The Benelux and Santiago de Chile, covers a series of key areas, allowing the company to guarantee an integral service for all its clients in the development of advanced, technological infrastructures. The company develops its activities in five strategic areas, all featuring a very high degree of specialization and practical know-how: Enterprise Security, Enterprise B2B, Enterprise Management, Enterprise High Speed Connectivity, and Consulting & Professional Services.
SIA's Enterprise Security Area has two main business lines. The first one is PKI's, specialized in the deployment of Public Key infrastructures, which secure electronic transactions. However, SIA's line of Virtual Private Networks (VPN) is the perfect accessory to the line of PKI's. These provide standard security for communication on public or private IP networks.
SIA's main goal in the technology market is to provide solutions for the needs of its clients, as leaders in the development and establishment of integrated, technological infrastructures that may be shared by companies and their different partners.
SIA is currently participating in important technological projects in the most important accounts in Insurance, Banking, Industry, Government and Transport sectors, among others.
