SecureZIP leverages the digital identity management capabilities of Entrust® Authority™ Security Manager to seamlessly incorporate digital certificates into the data encryption and digital signing process. Digital certificates generated through the Entrust Authority Security Manager can be stored in any number of directory servers where they can be easily accessed by SecureZIP. Whether digital certificates reside in a local CAPI store or in an LDAP-compliant directory including Microsoft Active Directory, Sun ONE Directory Server, Novell® eDirectory™, or others, SecureZIP automatically locates individuals’ certificates to encrypt and digitally sign data. Likewise, digital certificates that reside on Aladdin, Data Key, or other vendor’s smartcards or tokens can be accessed just as easily by SecureZIP.
