Partner Classifications and Designations

Entrust TrustedPartner Program offers six partner membership classifications. These classifications are based on how partners go to market and provide products and services to their customers.

Partner Classifications

Solution

Solution Partners deliver end-to-end solutions that combine Entrust enhanced security products with professional services meeting a range of customer needs from business analysis and planning, through project management, integration and implementation. more

Value Added Reseller

Value Added Reseller (VAR) Partners are trained and motivated to resell Entrust software. VAR Partners also provide customers with value added services such as pre-sales consulting, installation, integration and training services. more

Service Provider

Service Provider Partners offer standardized services for operating Entrust solutions combining expertise in data center operations with Entrust security products. These organizations may provide Trusted Third Party (TTP) services, hosting of Entrust solutions or operation of Entrust software within an Application Service Provider (ASP) offering. more

Deployment

Deployment Partners represent a limited group of highly trained and experienced consulting organizations that specialize in Entrust security, providing security services to customer through a subcontractor relationship with Entrust. more

Technology

Technology Partners leverage Entrust toolkits and products to address customer's specific business needs. Technology Partner solutions are integrated, tested and certified to verify that successful working solutions are available to customers. more

Distribution

A Distribution Partner is an organization with an established track record of building and maintaining two-tier distributor networks in specific geographies. This very select Classification is specialized leader in providing product access, inventory management, marketing, financing, training, and support services to its reseller community. more

Partner Designations

Some partner classifications are further refined to include two designations: Premier and Select. The partner designations are distinguished by geographical coverage, business focus, as well as capacity to meet the program requirements.

Premier

Premier Partners operate in multiple geographies with a commitment to apply resources globally across their organization. These partners provide a broad range of capabilities including sales and business development, marketing, services, and customer support. Premier Partners offer multiple, repeatable customer solutions based on a portfolio of Entrust products.

Select

Select Partners are recognized leaders in a specific geography or solution area. Select Partners offer at least one repeatable customer solution based on one Entrust product or security capability.

Partner geographies are defined as:

  • North America (United States, Canada)
  • EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa)
  • Rest of World (ROW; Asia Pacific, Latin American, excluding Japan)
