Entrust Webinar: How to Deploy Advanced Authentication for CJIS Compliance
DALLAS — Law enforcement agencies requiring access to the Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS) database must be in compliance with the FBI’s rapidly approaching September 30, 2013, deadline that mandates the use of advanced authentication from non-secure locations.
In conjunction with Government Security News Magazine, Entrust senior product manager and CJIS expert Mike Moir will host a webinar to discuss the CJIS security policy, current threats and how to choose the right authentication options. The webinar is scheduled for Wed., Feb. 13, at 1 p.m. EST.
“The new CJIS policy reflects that current security measures are antiquated and are subject to failure. Savvy departments should use this shift in procedure as an opportunity to upgrade their security measures from current needs, while enabling flexibility and scalability to adapt to attacks yet to come,” said Moir in a recent Government Security News article.
