10 Nov 2003
DALLAS - Entrust, Inc. [NASDAQ: ENTU], a global leader in securing digital identities and information, today announced that company chairman, president and CEO Bill Conner will address the EastWest Institute's international security forum, Towards Worldwide Security - Building the Transatlantic Agenda, scheduled for November 17, 2003 in Brussels, Belgium.
Towards Worldwide Security - Building the Transatlantic Agenda is an EastWest Institute initiative to address new worldwide security threats. The international conference will examine the different threat perceptions and approaches of the United States, Europe and Russia, build consensus for a global agenda, and encourage international cooperation on worldwide security.
"In today's dynamic times, government and industry must establish a new level of cooperation to meet shared security and economic objectives," said Conner. "From energy and telecommunications to financial services and transportation, today's modern infrastructures have emerged as the battlefield of choice for terrorist and criminal threats alike. As a result, the private sector now plays a dual role as guardian of the world's critical infrastructure, as well as the engine of global commerce. The EastWest Institute's worldwide security forum will promote a much needed dialogue to address today's worldwide security imperatives and establish a framework for effective international partnerships."
