Background on Dana Mitchell:
Mitchell is the former Chief Counsel to the California State Senate Committee on Privacy, which was the first standing committee of any legislative body in this nation dedicated to the growing area of privacy law and policy. She now serves as Counsel to the Senate, where she continues her work in the area of privacy. In addition, Mitchell is counsel to the Select Committee on the Regulation of Talent Agents, and follows entertainment issues for the President Pro Tempore. Before joining the Privacy Committee, Mitchell served as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, from 1997-2001. In that capacity, she developed policy expertise in constitutional and consumer issues, employment and labor law.
Background on Kalpana Ramakrishnan:
Ramakrishnan is a Principal in the Information Risk Management ("IRM") of KPMG in Southern California focusing on information security services, sourcing risk management, application design, business process reengineering, and business continuity management projects. Ramakrishnan has served KPMG clients in the hi-tech, transportation, banking, insurance, public sector and manufacturing industries.
Background on Eric Skinner:
Skinner is Vice President of Identity & Security Management Solutions at Entrust. His responsibilities include portfolio management and marketing for Entrust's foundation products, including its certificate authority and policy management capabilities. Eric joined Entrust in 1998.
