Entrust Integrates with Sun Microsystems to Deliver Internet Security Solutions
Strategic alliance provides customers enhanced flexibility in deploying a Network Identity infrastructure

(NASDAQ: ENTU), a leading global provider of Internet security solutions and services today announced that it is working with Sun Microsystems to integrate its products with the Sun? ONE Platform, providing customers increased flexibility in building trusted transactions with Internet-based services.
The Sun ONE Platform for Network Identity is a combined hardware, software and services offering that helps organizations rapidly establish an open, end-to-end network identity infrastructure. As part of the strategic alliance, Entrust has already ported Entrust TruePass?, Entrust Authority? and Entrust GetAccess? software to the Sun ONE Web Server and Sun ONE Directory Server. Entrust is also integrating Entrust TruePass? and Entrust GetAccess? with the Sun ONE Portal Server and the Sun ONE Portal ServerSecure Remote Access products to deliver pre-tested solutions that provide lower risk and time-to-deployment for joint customers.

Used in combination, the Entrust TruePass, Entrust Authority, Entrust GetAccess products and the Sun ONE Portal Server, Sun ONE Web Server and Sun ONE Directory server provide a comprehensive secure Web portal solution. In addition, the combination of the Sun ONE Portal Server, Secure Remote Access product with the Entrust products enables remote users the ability to access all of their portal applications and services securely, through a network identity enabled portal.
Entrust products provide the security and entitlements to move critical applications online while also enabling automated administration to do so with reduced time and effort. For example, banks offering wealth management services to top customers can begin offering access to account and transaction data to those customers in a secured environment. Government agencies can make it easier for citizens to interact with their organizations as a means to address mandates to reduce paperwork and costs while maintaining privacy. Entrust TruePass makes it possible to verify the identity of the individuals who are visiting and using a Web portal.
