Entrust Secures Web Portal Services For Over 647,000 Users With Entrust GetAccess? Allowing For The Expansion Of Telia's Customer Base
Registered Internet customer base rises dramatically to 647,000 in the last year

DALLAS -- Entrust, Inc., [NASDAQ: ENTU] a leading provider of enhanced Internet security products and solutions is enabling Telia, a leading Nordic telecommunications company to expand its registered Internet customer base to 647,000 , through the deployment of the secure Web portal solution Entrust GetAccess?. The two portals, www.telia.se / www.comhem.se now reach over 17% of Internet users in Sweden and are one of the top five Swedish Web site brands.
Entrust originally started working with Telia in 1998 to provide consolidated secure portal access for its new Internet-based service offering. Entrust delivered personalised information and interactive services to Telia's Internet customers and developed a scalable, reliable and secure Web portal solution. The deployment of Entrust GetAccess has resulted in an improvement of customer service quality and convenience allowing for the growth in Telia's customer base as well as significantly reducing Telia's costs as customer services and operations shifted from call centre agent operations to online delivery.
Telia originally selected Entrust because it offered its customers a secure single sign-on access to a range of sales and service options via the www.telia.se allowing them to log on just once to access functions for which the user is authorised. Furthermore, Entrust's GetAccess? provides fine-grained user authentication and authorisation.
