Paris - Oberthur Card Systems, one of the world-wide leaders in the smart card industry announced today that it will be among the first leading smart card based solution providers to integrate its AuthentIC Web Pack to achieve Entrust Ready? status with Entrust TruePass? software.
With this product integration both companies are willing to combine their effort to provide their customers with a complete end-to-end packaged solution for network security, based on market standards for secure authentication.
Oberthur Card Systems AuthentIC Web Pack is a smart card based solution for financial institutions, retailers and corporate network security. Fully interopable and based on market standards, it provides an easy to deploy and channel independent solution for strong digital identification. Entrust TruePass software v.6.0 provides enhanced identification through multiple methods of authentication based on digital identities (ID). This includes various smart cards, standard roaming, roaming with SMS messaging via GSM mobile phones, or via voice options with a standard phone, local PC storage, and tokens, thereby broadening the potential market of partner's products designated with Entrust Ready status.
