Entrust To Integrate Secure Web Portal Solution with BEA Security Services Provider Interface
Integration to allow customers to speed application development, helping to reduce time to market

DALLAS -- Entrust, Inc. [Nasdaq: ENTU], a leading global provider of Internet security solutions and services, today announced that it will integrate a foundation of its Secure Web Portal solution, Entrust GetAccess? software, with BEA Systems, Inc.'s [Nasdaq: BEAS] new Security Services Provider Interface (SSPI).
"This integration will provide customers with a best-of-breed BEA-Ready? solution that leverages the unique strengths of the BEA WebLogic Server? to quickly build and deploy more reliable, scalable e-business applications. The Entrust GetAccess software provides the identification and entitlements needed to help secure these applications," said Ken Goldberg, director, Portal Solutions, BEA.
"Integration with the SSPI framework enables customers of Entrust GetAccess software to more quickly develop applications, helping to reduce the time to market of new online services, which are critical in today's marketplace," said Ian Curry, vice-president, product management, Entrust. "In addition, Entrust plans to add support to the Entrust GetAccess platform for Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) compliant applications, to provide more detailed policy management and access control by helping to secure resources within the application server."
Entrust GetAccess software turns a Web portal into a powerful medium for managing and building personal and secure business relationships. It enables personalized and secure transactions over the Web by providing user identification, single sign-on and entitlements. It supports wired and wireless networks and its enhanced Internet security capabilities can be expanded through other products such as Entrust TruePass? software.
