Entrust Adds Edward O. Vetter to Board of Directors
Former Texas Instruments Executive Brings Extensive Government and Industry Expertise to the Board as New Director

DALLAS - The Board of Directors of Entrust, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENTU), a leading global provider of Internet security solutions and services, announced today the appointment of Edward O. Vetter as its newest member.
Mr. Vetter is currently serving as an executive management consultant following a distinguished career spanning more than five decades in leadership roles ranging from a major in the U.S. army, production engineer with Standard Oil of California, and executive vice-president and CFO at Texas Instruments, Inc. He also served as U.S. Undersecretary of Commerce, Energy Advisor to the Governor of Texas and Chairman, Texas Department of Commerce.
A mechanical engineering graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Mr. Vetter's previous board roles have included Western Co. of North America, AMR Corporation, Champion International, Cabot Corporation, Dual Drilling Company, May Petroleum, and Pioneer Natural Resources. From 1979-1988 he chaired the Nuclear Engineering Visiting Committee as a trustee for MIT.
