13 Jun 2006
DALLAS - Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima, vice president content technology for Entrust, Inc. [NASDAQ: ENTU] is set to present a session on the topic of "Risk Management Over Email, Instant Messaging and Web" to the CSI NetSec Conference this week. The session will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. MDT at The Phoenician.
"All organizations must review the information flowing across their networks be it over email, instant messaging, web traffic or as file transfers," said Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima, vice president content technology for Entrust, Inc. "An ideal manner to handle this is to leverage content control over multiple protocols on the enterprise network and use selective encryption for sensitive outbound email. We will discuss these risk reduction tools in the CSI NetSec session."
"Balancing the advantages and the dangers of communication security can present a high risk to both businesses and consumers. For example, when 99 percent of enterprise communications depends on e-mail and the security of sensitive information, there must be a fair and balanced process that eliminates that risk." said Dr. Sue Abu Hakima, Entrust vice president content technology.
