07 Jun 2006
DALLAS - Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima, Vice President Content Technology for Entrust, Inc. [NASDAQ: ENTU] is set to present a session on the topic of "Risk Mitigation and Content Control" to the Department of Defense (DoD) Identity Protection & Management Conference this week. The session will be held in Salon 3 on Wednesday June 7, 2006 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida.
"All organizations must ensure they act as good gatekeepers with any information coming in or leaving their networks be it over email, the web, instant messaging or thru file transfers," said Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima, Vice President Content Technology for Entrust, Inc. "An ideal way to handle this is to leverage automatic content analysis and make use of standards-based encryption to selectively protect outbound communications. We will be discussing how this can be done as well as the advantages and disadvantages at the session."
The DoD Identity Protection and Management Conference is intended for Information Technology and Physical Security professionals and will address the needs of DoD civilians, contractors and United States military personnel. Both programmatic and technical representatives will be on hand from the Program Management Office (PMO), Aircraft Certification Office (ACO) and the Biometrics Management Office (BMO), as well as subject matter experts from around the government, industry, academia, the international identity management community, allied countries and other organizations.
