“The 21st Annual CODiE Awards continue the tradition of honoring the best of the software, information and education technology industries,” said Ken Wasch, SIIA President. “When one considers the number of outstanding companies that competed this year, being named a CODiE Awards Finalist is a significant achievement.”

Through a unique combination of journalist and peer review, the CODiE Awards recognize 71 categories of outstanding products and services, as well as corporate excellence and philanthropy. This year’s finalists represent a wide and impressive array of technology and business excellence, passion and success. They were chosen from more that 1,026 nominations submitted by more than 500 companies – breaking the nominations record set in the 2005 awards.

“We are pleased to have been selected as a finalist from among so many potential candidates,” said Kevin Simzer, Senior Vice President at Entrust. “This nomination and our continued market momentum further validate Entrust’s position as a leader in the strong authentication space with a focus on innovation, customer value and solution utility and flexibility.”

Entrust IdentityGuard is a comprehensive strong authentication solution for customer and enterprise applications. This suite of strong authentication capabilities helps enable an organization to take a risk-based approach with its security deployment. The flexible deployment options can match strong authentication methods to the level of risk associated with the different types of users, transactions and applications. Through layered strong authentication methods – including two-factor authentication and mutual authentication – across different users and transaction types, Entrust IdentityGuard helps reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions and an organization’s security expenditures.  For more information, please visit: http://www.entrust.com/strong-authentication/identityguard/index.htm
